Clearing the beds of weeds:
1. To inhibit the development of perennial weeds, we cleanse the earth of everything, except for older shrubs with woody shoots.
2. We remove perennials, whose root systems are entangled with the roots of weeds. Let's not transplant them to other places in the garden, because we will bring the weeds there with them. If we want to save selected plants, let's clean it in the spring, before digging up by picking up seedlings. Such material is completely safe. When the area is cleared, we can dig it, cover with dark foil or apply herbicides.
